Interior Demolition

Interior demolition, also known as gutting, is the dismantling of internal non-structural spaces to make renovation or expansion possible. This process may involve demolishing non-load-bearing walls, ceilings, or floors with the help of specialized equipment. It also includes the removal of plumbing, electrical components, fire protection, millwork, furniture, and appliances. Once the demolition work is complete, we will also clean the area and remove all debris to make it easier for construction to begin.

Commercial Demolition

Tenn Demolition specializes in the demolition of commercial properties such as office buildings, shopping malls, factories, stores, hotels, churches, and more. Depending on your requirements, either Total demolition or Partial (selective) demolition can be executed.

Total demolition is when the entire structure is removed to make way for a new structure. This process involves clearing out the building, identifying safety risks, sealing off the area, and dismantling the structure using machinery. Once the demolition is completed, we will clear the land to make way for the construction of a new building.

Partial demolition is done when you want to keep part of the existing building that is in good condition, and it is an affordable way to renovate or readapt existing spaces.

Deconstruction

Deconstruction is the process of carefully removing salvageable interior and/or exterior structural elements that can be incorporated back into the project to reduce the overall cost. Deconstruction is a slower process, but the materials reclaimed can either be preserved for future use or broken down and recycled. Deconstruction significantly reduces your carbon footprint when compared to demolition and lowers landfill waste. This environmentally friendly process systematically disassembles a structure to salvage materials such as lumber, trim, fixtures, doors, windows, and cabinets for reuse. Alternatively, the reclaimed material can also be donated to non-profit organizations that use reclaimed material to construct housing for the less privileged and may be considered as a tax-deductible donation.
